Far East 420 XSP at the 420 Worlds in NZL
With 21 boats the XSP 420 have been the second largest 420 fleet
Many sailot - not from NZL - used the XSP 420 as a charter boat. 18 from the 21 XSP 420s have been charter boats. Sometimes it is difficult - because of limited time - to find the right trimm in a charter boat, the XSP boats showed good results. The french team Berthez / Heurley achieved a 9. place in the Gold Fleet and the team Garbay / Haddouche from France a 4. place in the Silver Fleet.
